Stuart Burgess
Stuart has a history in construction and specifically industrial rope access.
He has worked on projects such as the Eden Project in Cornwall and the new Vodafone Headquarters building in Newbury.
He moved to the highlands two years ago and started a family.
Stuart is professionally trained at Merrist Wood college, Surrey.
He is a qualified tree surgeon as well as a tree climber and chainsaw operative.
Stuart is passionate about trees and is specifically interested in woodland management, permaculture and locally sourced logs as a sustainable fuel.
Stuart is currently studying to achieve the Royal Forestry Society’s certificate in arboriculture.
Dan Burgess
Daniel also has a history in construction and industrial rope access but also in forestry and landscape management.
His past employment includes landscaping, woodland management and general land management.
He is experienced in thinning operations, small scale timber extraction and wood fuel production.
Dan moved to the highlands three years ago with his young family.
Dan is professionally trained at Merrist Wood college, Surrey.
He is a qualified tree surgeon as well as a tree climber and chainsaw operative.
Dan is passionate about trees, particularly arboriculture and care for trees. He has an extensive knowledge of good arboricultural practices and specifically sensitive pruning techniques.
Dan is currently studying to obtain a National Diploma in Arboriculture with the Scottish School of Forestry.
